A desire to incorporate language and image led me to learn basic bookmaking skills about twenty years ago. I am not interested in the book as craft or as a vehicle for presenting a text.
I am interested in the book as a form, as a starting point, as a context, as a culturally
understood means of presentation, and then subversion.
